Violence is the result of FEAR (Forgetting Everything Ain't Real)

I wrote about it in my book shown in the picture above.  We keep forgetting that none of it is real.  It's all in our heads.  We bring it into form by fearing it and holding the pictures of it as reality in our emotions and mind.  I know it seems nuts, sounds hard, but it's true.  We are attacking the symptoms and through doing so will never get around to the solution.  We try to ban guns as though criminals care about the law.  They don't.  We protest and march as though that will somehow magically change the hearts and minds of angry people.  It doesn't. 

If you notice, the whole world is pushing the message of fear.  Global change, wars, economic disaster, famine, running out of oil, new disease, terrorist, etc. etc.  It's all around us and as Gerald Celente says, "When people have nothing left to lose, they lose everything!"  How true that statement is.  When there is not hope people do horrible things.  

Life wants to survive and thrive and will go to great lengths to do so.  We hear of people eating mud pies just to stay alive, we've even had cannibalism of those stranded in the wilderness with nothing else to eat.  Animals caught in traps have been known to chew off the foot in order to get free.  Life fights hard to stay alive.  This urge to live is a wonderful thing as it helps us make it through some rough times.  BUT.. when we are subjected to fear day in and day out it does something to our minds and hearts.  It keeps us in fight or flight mode, stressed out to the max and at some point people break.  They either act out in violence or fall into depression.

Perhaps rather than attempting to drug and outlaw the symptoms of stress.. we could get to the root of the problem.  Turn off the news if it's bothering you.  Change relationships, go for long walks, sit in the silence, meditate, take a long, relaxing bath.  We have become a society that pops a pill in order to stop feeling and those pills have side affects that lead to even worse problems.  We need sunshine and exercise.  We need to sing and dance.  We need to celebrate our lives with others.  

These things I mention will not change the world, but they will help you to change YOUR world and that's where all change begins.  Take time out from the stress and move into joy.  that's why I write books, create classes, broadcast audio and video.  I know what's going on in the world and I know a lot of it is very unpleasant.  I don't take it to heart.  I seek to understand why it's happening and heal that within myself.  I urge you to do the same.
