Stuck in a Cycle, Break free

I could have called this chapter “What Are You I Am Ing Into Form”, ( I almost did name it that too). Instead we'll just talk about that idea for a moment in regards to Mind Full Ness. Your beliefs are what you are Mind full of. These ideas lead to feelings, which lead to expectations, which leads to creations, which lead to interactions, or reactions and the cycle repeats and continues. All along this repeated cycle you want off the ride. What might have been an adventure into showing the world how strong, smart or right you were in the beginning is now nauseating and totally no fun anymore. One of the biggest challenges to changing your life is breaking habits, most of which you probably don't even recognize. Most of us spend our whole life time doing the same thing the same way, thinking the same thoughts & believing the same stuff.  We want change but we can't seem to get a handle on how to make it happen.  I will not lie to you, there is no magic book or potion, you will have to do the work. You will have to spend time being honest about you, you will have to practice new thoughts & actions in order for change to happen, but if you do it, your life will change.

I know this as a matter of personal experience.  I've spent my life breaking habits of thought and belief that I adopted as a child and I've watched my life expand in ways that truly thrill & excite me.  You can do it too.  I know you can.  Where to start?  

Notice, actually pay attention to what you are thinking all day long.  Take note when you are recreating the past in your thoughts and emotions.  You must be willing to take responsibility for what you are holding on to. When you notice a theme, and you will if you follow this step, stop yourself & ask why you keep going back to the past.  Why are you holding on to ideas & experiences that you do NOT want any longer?
